Inkspired Sketch Blog Hop 12

Hello again and welcome to my blog. You may have joined from the delightful Marlene Goulder who always has a beautiful card for us to enjoy. Please take the time to hop around and see everyone's cards.
Our thoughts this week turn to all the people that have been affected by cyclone "Marcia" and "Lam", the damage has been devastating. We are thinking of them and here I was whinging because one of the many storms this week that hit us took out our phone and internet line....thankful for mobile phones and WI-FI!
To add a smile to us all thought I would share one of my many kangaroo pics....
Sitting down on the job!!
Now back to card making and here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this week

I am liking this one more than last fortnight's. I wanted to use one of the new stampsets  from the New Occasions catalogue....but I needed a birthday card for hubbie as he has a birthday this week and he loves boats.. so I went with The Open Sea.. love this stampset..so versatile
First I stamped the words in crumbcake in background after stamping off once, perhaps I should have stamped off twice to get a lighter effect what do you think?
Used Pacific Point ink for the ship and the  words and a bit of sponging Love the Baked Brown Sugar thick twine...My apologies for the inside shot, got home to late to take a pic outside.

Still not happy so up early to get an outside pic see below
Which one do you think is the better shot? I prefer the outside one...
