ESAD 2016 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop -

Welcome to the ESAD Holiday hop.
You may have hopped across from the
delightful Andrea Buckland.
It is so exciting wondering what everyone will
be using from the Holiday Catalogue
Now onto what I have used...
The Stitched with Cheer Project Kit
and used the Stitched with Cheer stampset.

If you love stitching this is the kit for you to get.
I had fun making the cards.

Stitched the trees onto the card and then added a piece of extra card inside
so you don't see the messy threads!

So here are the other pics
Wanted to show you a close up of the stitching - so easy to do
The stars are stamped with Emerald Envy - one of this years new In Colors.

Some handy hints when making the cards:

1. When I started  the stitching I stuck the end of the thread down on the card with a piece of sticky tape.
2. As I threaded through  the holes I made sure that I had firm tension by pressing my finger onto the thread after I had pulled it through the hole.
3. The needle threader was great which I used with the gold baker's twine on two of the cards.
4. With the Peace and Happiness card had to use the white and gold bakers twine - I wetted the end so that it would feed through the eye of the needle - I found it too thick to use with the needle threader.
There are some great tips on the inside of the instruction sheet together with instructions for all three cards.

What extra product do you need to make these cards:

- Stitched with Cheer stamp set
- Emerald Envy Classic Ink pad
- Basic Black Archival Ink pad
- Mini Glue Dots
- Stampin' Dimensionals
 -Tear & Tape adhesive

Now on the hop is Renee Lynch and I am wondering if
crumbcake cardstock is involved in the making of her card...
