Below is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight

Started with a base of Pool Party. Piece of Basic Black behind a piece of Pool Party that was stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp in Pool Party. Linen thread wrapped around twice and tied in a bow.(Forgot the leaf..)
Used the stamps from Pretty Kitty inked with Memento and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Love that pussycat in the pot!

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Allison and I can't wait to see her snowmen card that she has made for tonight.

Until next time

Just Add Ink #428 ..."Colour"

It is the long weekend in NSW and I have time to make a card for the Just Add Ink Colour Challenge - aren't the colours gorgeous and it is spring.. but was snowing here this saturday morning and very cool again...but will warm up  on sunday!

Went with the Calypso Coral as my main card and used the Pinewood Planks embossing folder on an additional piece.

Stamped the roses from Healing Hugs stampset in Calypso Coral and Pool Party and fussy cut them out.

Words and the leaf came from the Tropical Chic Bundle. Stamped the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink and cut them out with the framelits - no fussy cutting!

Now don't forget to click on this link - Colour Challenge #428 so you can see everyone's cards.

Thank you for stopping by.

Until next time

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 86 -

Hi and welcome everyone to another sunday night with some of the INKspired team that are hopping tonight. It is a long weekend in Australia so we have Monday off to enjoy. You may have come across from Narelle so welcome
Every fortnight Teneale gives us a sketch to work with and below is tonight's one.
Started with Flirty Flamingo as the cardbase. Then embossed a piece with the Softly Falling folder and sponged around the edge with Flirty Flamingo ink.

Added a rectangle piece of Highland Heather at an angle. Tied a length of Silver & Whisper White Baker's Twine to the card with a bow.

Added a piece of Country Lane DSP and scallops underneath from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits see below.
Used the circle framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and stamped the jug from the Country Home Stampset. Then fussy cut the flowers out.

Love how the colours went together.

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Allison and I can't wait to see what she has made.

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 85 -

Hello and welcome to the INKspired blog hop this sunday night. Wow what weather we have had warm one moment then snow and sago the next. You may have hopped across from Narelle and I look forward to seeing what she has made this fortnight.
Now below is the sketch Teneale has given us to use this time.

No automatic alt text available.

Wasn't quite sure what to use for this sketch - tossed things around and made a big mess with cardstock, stamps etc everywhere! Decided to use the Host set called Very Vintage from the main catalogue - you can only purchase this if you host a party it is such a pretty set.

Started with Whisper White as the base and then cut a piece of Highland Heather cardstock that I layered on Basic Black.
Cut a piece of the Highland Heather DSP from the Subtles collection and attached to the top - such a lovely colour.

Tied the linen thread twice around and finished with a bow.
Stamped the flowers and then attached to the card.
Used Whisper White with the Tailored Tag punch and stamped the Happy Birthday in Memento ink. Using Highland Heather stamped off once then stamped the design over the words.
Punched out a piece of Highland Heather and cut it lengthways  to add behind the Happy  Birthday.

Thank you for stopping by
now it is onto Allison who is using one of my favs from the new Holiday catalogue - can't wait to see what she has made.

ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue blog hop -

Welcome to another amazing ESAD blog hop. What is ESAD you ask - it is Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand that love hopping together. Down further you will see a box with a full explanation in it.
We are all sharing tonight what we have made using new product from the Holiday Catalogue....so much nice stuff to play with and share. If you get lost on the hop there is a list at the end that you can click on.
You may have hopped across from Monique and welcome.
I love this Holiday catalogue but chose two items to share tonight which was very hard to do.

The first is two versions of a card I made using the Country Home stampset and fussy cut the flowers out.

The Pineapple Punch cardstock has been embossed with the new Tin Tile Dynamic Textured embossing folder - on page 43.

The DSP I have used is the Country Lane on page 43. I have flipped the DSP over to show the other side of it.
This a picture of the DSP below - so nice. Now I sometimes leave my pictures not coloured so the person that receives my card can have some fun colouring in and then regifting if they wish.
Country Lane 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper
Then I had to show you a kit as I just love them - this one is called Timeless Tidings Project Kit on page 33 with a stampset you can purchase as well called Timeless Tidings.

I wanted to show my customers that you can use this kit for birthday cards as well.
Timeless Tidings Project Kit
They are so easy for anyone to put together and don't you love the gold foil edges on the envelopes!
Had to show you the inside of the envelope as well - love the stripes. Now the next card is using the stampset.
The card below  uses a Birthday stamp so well.
Now the two cards below show  christmas theme and a birthday theme.

You make 5 cards of the 4 designs which is a great start to your christmas or birthday collection. You can add ribbon and the rhinestones (that I forgot to add to some of the cards....)

I use stamps from Happy Birthday Gorgeous and Perennial Birthday stampsets that are in the main cattie.
I look forward to seeing what you can do with this kit.
Thank you for popping in and now it is onto
Sandra

Until next time
Happy stamping

Animal Outing - Rhino here I come

I am loving the Animal Outing stampset and here are a few more cards based on the Rhino.
If you click here you will go to my Giraffe card that I made using the beautiful Berry Burst  & Basic Black cardstock.
It is such a lovely stampset.

Love using Soft Suede cardstock as the base. Layering square framelits are so good to use when cutting out the rhino. Daffodil Delight is the colour used behind.
Used the Tailored Tag punch for the words from Beautiful You stampset and the  Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions folder.
Now with this card kept the base the same but used the Scattered Sequins Embossing folder and the Pretty Label Punch for the words. The words for this card have come from the Love What You Do Stampset.

Hope you have enjoyed these two Rhino cards.
Coming soon will be my favourite "Skippy the kanagroo with Katie the Koala".

Until next time
Happy stamping
