INKspired Sketch Blog hop 90 -

Hello and welcome to another INKspired hop on sunday night. This is the first day since thursday that we have got above 10 degrees C - keeping the winter gear out. Now it is raining which we so need ...
You may have hopped across from Narelle and I think she may be featuring new product - can't wait to see.

Well I found this sketch hard and I am still not sure why... perhaps because the stamp I wanted to use was not working

So started again using the Owl stamp which is in the Holiday catalogue page 41. The stamp is called Still Night and it has Night Owl Thinlits as well that come in a bundle that saves 10% - see below so cute.

Recipe:
1. Main card is Soft Suede.
2. Then cut a piece of Wood textures 6" by 6" DSP and adhered to a piece of Blushing Bride .
3. Put it through the big shot with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured embossing folder.
4.Cut two pieces of Very Vanilla and adhered them together.
5. Cut the branch from the Wood Textures DSP on page 191 of the Main Catalogue.
6. Stamped the owl onto crumbcake cardstock using a combo of colours Gray Granite and Soft Suede.
7. Used the Birthday friend stamp from the Darling Label Punch box on page 209 of main cattie on sale whilst stock
lasts.

Thank you for popping in

Now it is onto Allison and I can't wait to see what she has made for tonight

Until next time
Happy stamping

OnStage Swaps for Brisbane - Saturday 10th November 2018

Hello everyone just a quick pop in to show my swaps that I did for Brisbane Onstage - it was such a good day!
Of course I used the lovely First Frost that comes separately or in a bundle with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies and you save 10% when you buy the bundle. Bundle code is 149943 Clear , 149942 wood
I was working up until I left for Brisbane so used our Whisper White Notecards which saved time instead of cutting up the cardstock! They cost $11.25 for 20 note cards & envelopes (131527) - a great buy. They also come in Very Vanilla.
It was a mass production stamping all the envelopes first and the first leaves on the card in Soft Sea Foam ink.

Then I stamped all the words in Memento ink and punched out using the Pretty Label punch

The large flower was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and cut with the framelits.

Then stamped the small twig with dots on it in Smoky Slate ink and then the small flower in Balmy Blue ink and Highland Heather ink. The words were glued down and the Flirty Flamingo flower was popped up on a dimensional.
The card on the left has the twigs stamped in Gray Granite ink which is darker - one person received this card at Onstage. (my apologies for the light catching on the cellophane in the pic)

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 89 -

Hello everyone I am glad that I could join in this sunday night and schedule the hop before I departed for Brisbane for the Stampin' Up! Onstage event.
Can't wait to see Narelle's Santa card - it will be so cute!

Here is the sketch that Teneale has left us with (she is in Orlando with Barb) having a great time I am sure.

No automatic alt text available.

My apologies for the lighting but has been overcast and storms here today. Started with Mint Macaron and used the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured embossing folder.
Stamped the milk can from the Country Home stampset and coloured using the Stampin' Blends.

Finished with a piece of the Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine. The words are from the First Frost stampset ( I have been using for my Onstage swaps - will show you when I come back).

Started with it punched out with the Pretty Label Punch but cut the top & bottom off as it was too wide.

Thank you for popping in

Now it is onto Allison and can't wait to see what she has made

Until next time
Happy stamping
