INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 44 -

Hi and welcome to our INKspired blog hop.
You may have arrived directly here or
come across from the delightful
Allison who creates such cute cards.
Now here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight
I had an idea but I had to change the oval from
 laying across the card.....
The base card and layer was Flirty Flamingo.
The layer was embossed
with Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing folder and then sponged around the edge
with Flirty Flamingo ink.

I stamped the oval with flowers from the
Number of Years Stampset (love that set).
Placed the lovely Flirty Flamingo Ruched
ribbon across the card and then another
piece over the top and two pearls beside
the oval.

Thank you for stopping by
Now it is onto
Louise to see what lovely creation
she has made.

Global Design Project 058 | Sketch Challenge

I needed some male birthday cards
and was deciding what to make
when I saw the Global Design Project challenge
 for this week.
I then used the sketch from #GDP058
designed by Teneale Williams
for my card.

Don't forget to check out all the other amazing creations at the Global Design Project page.

So here is my birthday card

Used Crumbcake as the base with one of the DSP from
Candy Cane Lane (love this DSP).Then used the stampset - Guy Greetings for the car which is stamped
in Early Espresso ink and the words are from the same set - so versatile for a male card.

Hello everyone
SUO Challenge #159 is all about Holiday papers
and we have some gorgeous ones to choose from.
Don't forget to click on the link above to see all the lovely
cards everyone has made - great ideas!
Now what to use?
decisions decisions.....
I finally decided on one of my favourites -
Candy Cane Lane DSP
Wanted to keep it simple
so used Very Vanilla as the base card with an overlay of Very Vanilla
that had been embossed with the
Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder.
I cut my DSP with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.
Then I had to cut a bow out of the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper.

Stamped the Happy Christmas in Real Red ink.
These words are from the
Greetings from Santa stampset.

This is an easy christmas card
that you could make multiples of.
Have fun stamping & making cards

SUO Challenge #158 – Thanks and Thanksgiving

It's the weekend and I just have time to finish
off my card that I started for the
SUO (Stampin' Up! Only)  Challenge.
I am especially thankful for spring
in Australia.
All our bulbs are blooming but hoping for a bit more sunshine instead of the rain and sleet
we have had.
The first part of the challenge was for a
thanksgiving card or decoration but we could make a card or other project that expresses, "Thanks".
So I am going for a card
that expresses thanks.
This first card is Very Vanilla layered onto Crumbcake
with Real Red Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder using
a medallion from
Frosted Medallions stampset and the word
thanks is from
Sunburst Sayings stampset
Sponged around the Very Vanilla cardstock with
Real Red ink.
Then I decided to do another card
 using Crumbcake cardstock only.

Thanks for stopping by
Maree.

Global Design Project #55 | Theme Challenge

I was making a card for a friend this long weekend
and nearly forgot to upload to the
as the theme is
My friend doesn't know this card is coming
so it is indeed a RAK.
Now here is my card - it has been a weekend for colouring in (when time has permitted..)
Loved using the Timeless Love stampset that
has great words and such lovely flowers
I don't use alot of Pacific Point cardstock
but it worked well with this card
and the Brights DSP.
Tips:
1. Made a standard card and then sliced a couple of cm's off the front which allowed the flower DSP to be shown.
2. Stamped some spots from the Gorgeous Grunge stampset in Versamark onto the front of the card.
3. Before I stamped the words and flower onto the Very Vanilla cardstock I placed the size of the circle framelit that I wanted to cut it with over the top - to see if it fitted in.

Thanks for stopping by

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 42 -

Hi everyone
Welcome to our INKspired Sketch Blog hop 42 -
You may have arrived from Renee
and I can't wait to see her creation this fortnight.
Now Teneale has given us this sketch
below to use.
I decided on a Christmas card using the Christmas Magic stampset. Used Emerald Envy cardstock as the
main card.

Placed Very Vanilla cardstock on top .
Stamped the train with Archival Basic Black ink and cut out with one of the Layering Circles Framelits and did a Real Red scallop edge framelit.
Coloured in using the Brights Stampin' Write markers and the Neutral Stampin' Write markers with
a Blender Pen.
Used some Clear Wink of Stella to highlight.
The Softly Falling textured impressions embossing folder was used to run a smaller section of Very Vanilla through.
A piece of the new Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim finished it.

No wildlife tonight but my tulips are flowering and I thought I would show you
a couple of pics of them.

Now it is onto Louise to see what
 beautiful creation she has made

Thank you
for stopping by
