Just Add Ink - Male Card Born to Ride

Hi everyone, I had to make a birthday card with an old retired Stampin' Up set called
Born to Ride as I needed a motorcycle. This set is great in that it has three motorbike stamps.
I wish they would add some new motorbike stamps...maybe next year we might be lucky.
I thought I would put it into Just Add Ink #276 Cards for Males

Hope you like it

Bye for now

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 23 - You've Got This

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog hop. You may have hopped across from the delightful Marlene Goulder and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop. Grab a cuppa, relax and take time to hop around everyone's site and get some great ideas.
Here is the sketch we have this fortnight from Teneale Williams

I love a bit of water colouring so thought I would start with that. A very light waterwash of Mint Macaron that I allowed to dry on Very Vanilla but it looks more white in this picture taken at night.
Stamped the flower using Memento ink and used the blender pen to lightly colour with Melon Mambo ink and the leaves were done with Mint Macaron & Cucumber Crush.Used Delightful Dijon marker to colour the middle of the flower. The Melon Mambo Candy Dots then finished it.

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Renee Lynch to see what she has in store for us this fortnight......something gorgeous as always

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 22 -

Hello and welcome everyone to another INKspired Blog Hop, the fortnight sure goes fast. Just some quick pics of our friendly Wally the wombat who has got confused with what time he is supposed to be out chomping on the grass and then fertilizing it! The back view is not his most flattering but he is posed to run down the hill! I was less than a metre away!

You may have hopped across from Marlene who I am sure has made a wonderful card to share

Here is our sketch this fortnight - so pretty, Teneale.
Now here is my card. I kept it simple using some Bohemian DSP (love it!) with Bermuda Bay as the main card with a Very Vanilla front (as it is one of the colours in the DSP). Stampin' Up! now have a list of the colours on the back so that you can be co-ordinated - too easy)

Used a saying from the Sheltering Tree stamp set which means so much when you have good friends.
Punched some stars from the Silver Glimmer with the Confetti Stars punch as I wanted them small.
Punched a flower with the Petite Petals punch which I cut the leaves nearly down to the centre, scrunched it and added a small star to the middle.

I kept it simple and loved how it turned out.
What do you think? Let me know.

Now it is onto the lovely Narelle Macey,

can't wait to see what she has made..

Thank you for stopping by

Gorgeous Grunge meets Watercolor Wings - JAI#273

Hi everyone wanted to join in at Just Add Ink # 273 this week as they have a great colour combo to get us started with and here it is:
Love the colours but not sure if I have any smoky slate cardstock but I do have the ink.
I was thinking butterflies done in the first three colours with a Crumb Cake as my main card base.

Here is my card

Used Crumbcake as my base card, then whisper white cardstock and rounded the corners on the right side only.
Then used the Gorgeous Grunge and did some stripes in smokey slate and the butterflies from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar in the same.
Then did some fine splotches in Bermuda Bay  and Blackberry Bliss.
The main butterfly used the smokey slate stamped off once, then Blackberry Bliss on the edge and lastly the Bermuda Bay.
Cut out the Butterfly and then stamped the body in Smokey Slate which is  impossible to see as I covered it in rhinestones!

Tip when using the Watercolor Wings with the Bold Butterfly Framelits:
Stamp the Butterfly in two or three colours then cut out with the framelit.
It is easier then to see where to stamp the body of the butterfly as you have the shape there for you to see.
