Birthday card for Jack

Hello everyone
It is hard sometimes to find enough male stamp sets to use.
For my nephew Jack - I used a recently retired stampset called Pedal to the Metal
He has a red ute with a trayback so this American one was the closest I could find to his.

Started with Soft Suede as the main card and added another layer that I embossed using the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder. Decided to do a scene when using the ute.

Stamped the mountains in Gray Granite and the trees in Mossy Meadow. The stamps are from from the Waterfront stampset -page 129.

WATERFRONT PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

Coloured in the road with my Stampin' Blend - Smoky Slate.
Now for the inside of Jack's card.

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired Combo Colour Challenge Hop 121 -

Welcome everyone to our sunday blog hop that Teneale organises for us. We have a colour combo challenge this fortnight.

You may have hopped across from Allison  McLeod and I love what she does with these challenges. This colour challenge has not been a favourite of mine. My new Old Olive inkpad is much darker (as you can see below) than my old one. I started with the Life is Beautiful stampset and stamped the tree in Old Olive then I added Mango Melody leaves to the tree (some were stamped off)

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

I stamped the birdhouse in Pretty Peacock in and stamped the words in Pool Party.

Used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to shape the end of my  strip. The card above has Pretty Peacock as the base.

LOVELY LABELS PICK A PUNCH

Now it is onto Kozue Smith and I love her cards - they are so pretty

As you can see below I stamped off on the Old Olive for the tree (right hand side card) to make it a lighter colour.

Thank you for stopping by

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired Challenge 120 - Ornate Garden

Hi and welcome to our sunday night INKspired blog hop. This week Teneale has us all using the Ornate Garden Speciality Designer Series Paper.

You may have joined my blog from the lovely Allison McLeod and I love seeing what she makes each fortnight.

Started with a main card of Bumblebee cardstock. I then cut Basic Black cardstock and layered two pieces of Ornate Garden DSP to it see below.

I embossed a piece of Bumblebee cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder

and attached it to the bottom of the Basic Black cardstock.

I used one of the small Ornate Layer Dies and cut out a piece of Basic Black.

Stamped Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stampset. I cut this Whisper White cardstock using the Hippo & Friends Dies which are so versatile.

Simple card that shows off the lovely Ornate Garden speciality DSP

Thank you for stopping by.

Now it is onto Kozue Smith who makes the most amazing cards.

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

Kylie's International Blog Highlight August 2020 - Hippo thanks

Hello and welcome everyone to my blog. I have been enjoying playing with the cute Hippo from Hippo Happiness and decided to join in
Kylie Bertucci’s International Stampin’ Up!® Blog Highlights for August  which has the theme of Thank You. It is taking the time to make a card for a loved one or a friend, simply saying thanks
especially when we have family & friends locked down in Melbourne at the moment.

Image may contain: text that says 'KYLIE BERTUCCI'S Monthly International Blog HIGHLIGHTS'

Started with Magenta Madness as my base card. Added a piece of Bumblebee cardstock to a 3 inch strip of floral from the Flowers for every Season DSP. I embossed this piece with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder.

Stamped my hippo using the stamparatus in Flirty Flamingo and Magenta Madness (stamped off once) - so cute. Used the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut out my hippo and the Magenta Madness piece.
The word thanks came from the Beauty Abounds stampset.

Don't forget to go and look at all the beautiful cards that have been put up - just click here will take you straight there.
Now don't forget to click on the hearts to vote for 5 of the cards.

Until next time

SUOC 254 - Colour Challenge with Beautiful Moments

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. It is so relaxing to colour images in and I love using my Stampin' Up! Blends for that.
I noticed that the #SUOC254 was a colour challenge this time so had to play along.
Don't forget to hop on over and get inspiration from all the amazing cards.

I am enjoying colouring the pictures from the Beautiful Moments stampset so couldn't resist using one for this.

Started with a Mint Macaron base card and then added another piece that had a strip  attached to the centre of Terracotta Tile  that was then embossed with the Absolutely Argyle 3D folder.

My lady was stamped with Memento ink and coloured using Highland Heather, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green & Old Olive with Magenta Madness & Real Red for the flowers.  A scalloped oval of Soft Suede was adhered to the image and popped up on my card.
