WWC129 Libby's " All About Christmas" Challenge - Sheltering Tree

Welcome to a christmas challenge. I love using different stamp sets for a christmas card instead of the traditional.
Also love using non traditional colours.

Started with using the Sheltering Tree stampset with Wisteria Wonder and Rich Razzleberry for the leaves and stamped off a few times to get the different colour tones. Early Espresso was used for the tree branches and one of the trees at the back I double stamped to get two layers of branches close together.

Rich Razzleberry cardstock was used for the card base. The Merry Christmas stamp is from the Star of Light set and Early Espresso was used to blend with the trees.
I could link in to the WWC129 All about Christmas Challenge

WWYS #126 // Label Me Pretty and lemon sultana biscuits

Made some lemon sultana biscuits to give to a friend and made a matching birthday card to go with it. Love how the Label Me Pretty stampset and matching punch are so versatile.

For the Birthday Card
Pool Party as my base (10.5cm x21cm) folded in half and added  a  strip of Sweet Sugarplum which I used the Banner punch on both ends. Some Burlap ribbon, Silver Metallic thread and rhinestones. Used the Watercolor pencils to colour the flowers.

For the biscuit card
Pool Party cut at 3" x 6" and folded in half. Stamped the kitchen stamp onto  Pool Party and punched out. I then punched a piece of Sweet Sugarplum out and cut it in half and attached it to the back.
It was then attached to the 3" card. I then realised I had no Sweet Sugarplum striped grosgrain ribbon only Flirty Flamingo to tie it onto the cellophane bag.

#tgifc117 Theme Week - Summertime Blues

Its winter here so I thought I would create some lovely blue skies so that I can dream of the warmth to come in our Australian summer. I am submitting my card in the #TGIFC117 challenge which is themed Summertime Blues
I  blended the following colours in a wash onto some shimmery white cardstock. Started at the top - water washed Pacific Point then Tempting Turquoise then Marina Mist and finally Old Olive.
I also washed the blues onto a separate piece of shimmery white and cut out a rose. I also cut a rose out of Night of Navy. Stuck the outline of the Night of Navy rose down and filled it in with the lighter blue pieces.

Stamped the Happy Birthday in Archival Basic Black ink. The stamp is from the Rose Wonder stampset which can be found on page 162 of the Stampin' Up! catalogue.

SIP Challenge 108 - Fabulous Florals!

Hello everyone when I noticed that the Stamp,Ink,Paper Challenge was all about Fabulous Florals I had to join in!

Its winter here in Australia and we are looking forward to spring when the daffodils and tulips start flowering here in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. These are some of my tulips from last year nestled under the gumtrees.

So what set to use....I decided it was a great chance to use the new hostess set called Tranquil Tulips.

Started  with a base of Berry Burst with Whisper White.
Stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and the tulips in
Flirty Flamingo.

Love the Label Me Pretty stampset and the words were
done in Archival Basic Gray.
Makes it quick and easy with the new Pretty Label punch for the words.

Until next time
happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 61 -

Hi and welcome to this INKspired blog hop
You may have arrived here first or come from Allison
and I love what she makes.
Before we move onto the sketch I just have a few snow pics from our place to show you from this week.

Teneale Williams gives us a sketch that we work
from to come up with our card
and here it is for this fortnight
I started with a crumbcake base and then used Pinewood Planks which is a new 3D Dynamic textured folder. Sponged around the edges with Soft Suede ink and adhered some of the lovely Daffodil Delight double stitched ribbon.
The words come from the lovely Blooms & Wishes stampset.

Wanted the flowers to be overflowing the fence and used the Flourish Thinlits for my leaves and flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Now it is onto Barbara and I can't wait to see
what she has made for this hop

Thank you for coming in

    Hello and welcome to our

Allison and I love seeing what she makes (those pigs were so cute) last fortnight!

Now here is the sketch Teneale has given us
    to play with.
I have been loving the Window Box Thinlits
and how the designs make lovely boxes
but are also great on cards.
Just need to add a colour behind the design.
Chose the Powder Pink from the Fresh Floral DSP stack.

I stamped the words at the bottom
so couldn't add the string and bow.

ESAD Blog Hop - Favourites from the 2017/18 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue

Hi and welcome to another ESAD blog hop which is about
our Favourites - what we are lovin'.

You may have hopped across from the
    delightful Kristel Rimmer and I
simply can't guess what her favs are..but Berry Burst seems to be a hit with her.
The box below explains what ESAD is  all about - it is a fun loving group that loves Stampin' Up
    and we are all Demonstrators
    I am lovin' this catalogue
and it was really hard to choose one fav.... so I have a
few. Love the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack so it forms part of my hop today including the cardstock.
I have chosen three of the new In Colours - Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink.
I just had to make some small matching boxes for
some chocolates to go with the cards but they had
disappeared so lucky the Mentos were still in the cupboard
    for my picture!
Love the Lemon Lime Twist card below - such a
    gorgeous colour

If you don't have the stampset you can cut the flowers out from the Fresh Florals DSP for your cards but I chose to use the Floral Phrases stampset and the words from Beautiful You.
The layering ovals provided the perfect match for the flower stamp.
I think the Berry Burst card is my fav - what one do you like the most?
Was going to use the cute bows on the card
but felt they were not needed.. have another use for them
    coming soon.
Don't forget all these products are on pages 94-95 of the
    2017-18 Stampin' Up! Catalogue
    for you to order.

Now it is onto Kathryn Ruddick and I can't wait to see
    her favourites.

Thank you for stopping by on this wonderful
