Seize the Birthday: One Layer Card Fabulous Flamingo

I needed a challenge and I love following when I can 

Seize the Birthday- always so many gorgeous cards 

to admire.

One layer is always a challenge for me

so I hopped right in and decided the topping was for me!

"One Layer"

I have been playing with the cute Stampin' Up

Fabulous Flamingo (try and say that quickly a few times over...!). 

Everyone loves Flamingos in pinks 

but I pictured him as a variety of blues

instead

 He is so elegant and I had to use the Happy Birthday from the Beautiful You stampset to match him.

Used the lovely blues - Pool Party, Pacific Point and Marina Mist. Then Wild Wasabi for the grass and used second generation for one clump.
