Saying farewell to Stampin' Up! Tropical Chic stampset & Tropical Dies

 Tropical Chic has been a wonderful stampset that is retiring on the 2nd June. It has been loved by all. So easy to  make quick and easy cards with the set.

You could also cut the leaves and flowers out with the Tropical Dies (that are currently still available online)

My card is quick and simple - stamps, ink & paper

Love the white space and the two greens that I have used with  Gorgeous Grape ink for the flowers. Can you guess what two greens I have used? 

One might be in the Brights collection and the other in the Regals Collection.

Simple card to make and a fitting farewell to this much loved stampset & the Tropical Dies that go with it.

Well from tommorrow - 3rd June you will see cards made with new Stampin' Up! product

Sneak Peek from Sale-A-Bration 2019 - Hello Cupcake

Hello everyone. Just popped in with some notecards I have been making with Hello Cupcake from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
#simplestamping is what the first two cards are about - you only need stamps, ink and cardstock.

Used Soft Suede,Gorgeous Grape and Pineapple Punch for the first card which would be great for a Beginner Stamper. The stamps are Photopolymer and you can see for easy alignment.

Second card I changed and used Gray Granite ink for the wrapper instead of Soft Suede. Added some flowers and Rhinestones for the yellow flowers. This card could be used for a Casual stamper.

 The third card would be for the Avid stamper as it is more involved. I added a piece of Whisper White to the front of the notecard. Ran it through the Bigshot with a folder from the Petal Pair Textured Embossing folder (page 223 of the Main Catalogue). Sponged around the edge with Pineapple Punch. Stamped the cake topper in both colours on Whisper White and fussy cut them out. Stuck the Gorgeous Grape down and popped up the Pineapple Punch topper with dimensionals.
