Love and Affection - PCCCS201

Well it has been a miserable day today

cloudy and cold - rain is on the way again.

Am making birthday cards at the moment -

July is a busy month with cards I have to send.

Saw this card sketch from the Paper Craft Crew

and thought I would use it for one of my cards

Well I started with Melon Mambo as the base
Very Vanilla  cardstock and a lovely saying from Love and Affection
stampset
Then used the beautiful Flourish Thinlits dies with
Blushing Bride cardstock
but the flower stem was too long so snipped the bottom off.

Hop on over and see all the lovely cards that everyone has made
at PCCCS201

 Hope you enjoyed my card

Inkspired Sketch Blog Hop 3 - Stippled Blossoms

Hello Everyone, welcome if you have hopped across from the lovely Marlene Goulder on this third Inkspired Sketch Blog Hop. I know you will have seen some beautiful cards along the way.
We have had some amazing weather this last week - rain, hail, sleet and snow with temperatures in the minus. Doesn't the weather know I am trying to grow tomatoes for christmas!!!!(I have them in the hot house..lol)

My card this week is  dedicated to my cousin, Denise who sadly lost her battle with cancer, far too soon. She loved gardening and was a mad keen golfer.

Teneale Williams has done an amazing sketch for us this fortnight......I hope I can do it justice.

I  turned the card sideways with very vanilla used on top of Melon Mambo. I stamped the roses in  - Blushing Bride was the solid rose with the detail rose in Melon Mambo ink on top and then hand cut all the flowers out (learnt from Teneale). For the leaves I stamped the Pear Pizzazz first(solid stamp) then stamped off once with the Garden Green (it was just too dark), prior to stamping the detail leaf. I sponged around the Very Vanilla with the Blushing Bride ink and a strip of Melon Mambo from the Brights DSP.

Guess what I actually took a photo of the inside!

Thank you for stopping bye on this blog hop and don't forget to leave a comment.... we all love getting comments.

Now it is onto the creative  Narelle Macey :
