Well welcome to 2017 - hope you had a
lovely christmas and new year.
and I can't wait to see what she has made for us
I have decided to use one of my favourite Sale-a-bration stampsets - Hey Chick and it comes in either wood mount or clear.
Teneale Williams gives us a sketch to use each fortnight - so pull up a chair and grab a cuppa
Teneale Williams gives us a sketch to use each fortnight - so pull up a chair and grab a cuppa
or a wine and take the time to hop around all the posts!
So here is our first sketch for 2017
Hmmm a square card - I don't do many so what
size should I do? Well I googled it!
LOTS OF COMMENTS - majority went for
4", 5" or 6" square cards. What size do you make?
I have made a 5" card and I have made my standard card to show the difference.
Now here is my square card with the frizzle chooks heads only - aren't they cute and below is a pic of a real one!
Then I made a standard card as well to show you
Then here are the two cards together
What did I use -
Started with Mint Macaron as the main card and then added a Very Vanilla layer that had been embossed
with Softly Falling and sponged with Mint Macaron ink around the edge.
A strip of Mint Macaron on top of the embossed Very Vanilla.
Then stamped the Frizzle chook and used the smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
Colored them in using the new Watercolor pencils on
page 24 of the new Occasions catalogue.
I didn't add a sentiment to the front.
That's all.
Thank you for stopping by now it is onto the talented
