INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 2 - Wetlands

Hello and welcome across from Marlene Goulder on this second INKspired Sketch Blog Hop.
Not so nervous this fortnight but fingers crossed that no little gremlins get into the blog hop....
My card this week was one that I had been developing for the "womens conference" group.(a delightful group that enjoys much laughter, smiles & jokes)

Teneale Williams has given us another cute sketch to play with:

My card does not have any words on the front so I can use it when needed. Main cardstock is crumbcake with another layer of same embossed and sponged.
I then cut a small piece of  vanilla and embossed the birds from Wetlands in black and then started sponging the inks on. Scalloped a piece of soft sky and added the Venetian crochet trim over it. Then added a piece of Moonlight DSP and a sliver of Lost Lagoon.I wanted the glow of sunset coming from the clouds...what do you think?

I sat the card in a pot of flowering bulbs to have a bit more colour surrounding the card.

Thank you for stopping by and now it is onto...
