INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 15

Hello and welcome to our next blog hop we had a lovely three week break due to Easter but was I prepared definitely not....too many other things were happening over Easter. You may have hopped across from the delightful Marlene's blog and I am sure she had a wonderful card to show us all.

Here is the sketch Teneale has given us

Here is my card - I kept it simple.
I immediately turned the card sideways , used Real Red & Basic Black cardstock.
I gold embossed the circle stamp onto the Real Red cardstock - then attached them to the Sahara Sand lace.Used the Hello U thinlits and cut the word thanks from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (I would have done the words in gold but had used it all...sigh!).

Before we go just a quick pic of a frazzled mother who wants her baby to grow and not return to her pouch. I love how he wants to stay secure even thou mum's pouch is nearly on the ground! He only lasted another week then was stopped from hopping in. You may see that next time.

  1. Hi Sunshine great card and how good are the thanks thinlit. love your colours

  2. Red & black is one of my favourite combos! This card is stunning. Love the pop of white from the thanks! x

  3. We are both rocking out the gold embossing powder this week :) Love the repeated postage stamp and the contrast between the lace to the bold Real Red.

  4. I really like how the bold elements, and colours, contrast with the soft lace trim, Maree. Lovely, happy, card.

  5. Wow, Love what you have done with the sketch Maree, You and Teneale really did think alike rocking out the gold embossing. Nice touch to you beautiful card. Love it! xo
