INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 22 -

Hello and welcome everyone to another INKspired Blog Hop, the fortnight sure goes fast. Just some quick pics of our friendly Wally the wombat who has got confused with what time he is supposed to be out chomping on the grass and then fertilizing it! The back view is not his most flattering but he is posed to run down the hill! I was less than a metre away!

You may have hopped across from Marlene who I am sure has made a wonderful card to share

Here is our sketch this fortnight - so pretty, Teneale.
Now here is my card. I kept it simple using some Bohemian DSP (love it!) with Bermuda Bay as the main card with a Very Vanilla front (as it is one of the colours in the DSP). Stampin' Up! now have a list of the colours on the back so that you can be co-ordinated - too easy)

Used a saying from the Sheltering Tree stamp set which means so much when you have good friends.
Punched some stars from the Silver Glimmer with the Confetti Stars punch as I wanted them small.
Punched a flower with the Petite Petals punch which I cut the leaves nearly down to the centre, scrunched it and added a small star to the middle.

I kept it simple and loved how it turned out.
What do you think? Let me know.

Now it is onto the lovely Narelle Macey,

can't wait to see what she has made..

Thank you for stopping by

  1. Lovely card Maree! love the DSP and those cute little stars!

  2. A really beautiful card Maree. Mum and I had talked about that Bohemian DSP this week as we have struggled with using it because it is so bold but you have shown it can look fabulous on a card.

    1. Thanks Teneale for your lovely comment. I have been trying to use it in different ways but kept it simple to let the DSP shine thru this hop.

  3. You don't see many wombat around anymore! He is cute! Love the card Maree Love the Bohemian DSP but have rarely used it too :(
LOL just remembering I was collecting those little stars from the star confetti punch and had a whole heap of them... Epic fail moment when they were scattered across me craftroom floor #sigh :(

    1. Thanks Kabrina for your comment, unfortunately due to the winter traffic we have a lot of dead wombats on the roads with the kangaroos. We have quite a few wombats due where we live...
Funny you mention keeping those little stars I had kept some to use and then couldn't find them,so had to punch some more out!

  4. Maree what a lovely card you have made! TheBohemian DSP is my favourite paper. The patterns work well together. Love the little hint of bling in the stars. Was it a case of where's wally.. He too Cute! xo

    1. Thanks Narelle, I am loving it (DSP) as well. Not wheres Wally but naughty, noisy Wally!

  5. I love this DSP and I love the touch of sparkle (but I think everyone knows I'm a sparkle kind of gal lol) So sad to hear about the poor wombats, we had one at the golf course up the road a few weeks ago - I told hubby it must have been lost lol

    1. Yes we are alike there Lisa we both love sparkle and bring on the bling I say!
