WWC129 Libby's " All About Christmas" Challenge - Sheltering Tree

Welcome to a christmas challenge. I love using different stamp sets for a christmas card instead of the traditional.
Also love using non traditional colours.

Started with using the Sheltering Tree stampset with Wisteria Wonder and Rich Razzleberry for the leaves and stamped off a few times to get the different colour tones. Early Espresso was used for the tree branches and one of the trees at the back I double stamped to get two layers of branches close together.

Rich Razzleberry cardstock was used for the card base. The Merry Christmas stamp is from the Star of Light set and Early Espresso was used to blend with the trees.
I could link in to the WWC129 All about Christmas Challenge
So don't forget to hop over and see all the other wonderful christmas cards that have been made for this
Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.

Thank you for stopping by
Have a great time stampin'
until next time

GDP Theme: Get Well Soon - Love You Lots

As you can see by the above I thought I would enter the
#GDP039 this week.
I have been playing with the wonderful Hostess set - Love You Lots which I adore

I started with my base card of Very Vanilla and then added a piece of Wisteria Wonder to it.
I wanted to keep it simple so I then added a piece of Very Vanilla on which I stamped the elephant & mouse in Archival Basic Black (aren't they so cute!)
I then used a Blender pen to lightly colour in parts the mouse and elephant in Smoky Slate and used some Wild Wasabi ink for the grass under the elephant and mouse.
I then stamped the words thinking of you from the stampset Sheltering Tree in Archival Basic Black ink.

Hope you enjoyed my card.
Until next time - happy stamping!

Bye for now

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 33 -

Welcome to out INKspired sketch blog hop -
#INK033
This month has certainly flown by
You may have hopped across from Narelle and I am wondering what gorgeous surprise she has in store for us this hop. She had a birthday yesterday so don't forget to wish her a "Happy Birthday"!
Now pull up a chair , grab a coffee/tea and hop thru all the blogs...
You will enjoy them!

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us

I needed a male birthday card for my brother-in-law so I chose to use the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) set - Sky is the Limit, for the plane and the words Happy Birthday.
I started with a standard card base of Early Espresso and found some lovely stripes in the gorgeous English Garden DSP and used Soft Suede behind the stripes and behind the rectangle.
The words (....On Your Special Day) are from the SAB set - Botanicals for You and stamped in the Basic Black Archival ink - so crisp!
I didn't cut the corners of my whisper white rectangle - just didn't suit my plane....
Needed colour on the card first..
I sponged Pear Pizzazz down the bottom to get the green effect and stamped the grass from the Sheltering Tree in Old Olive stamped off slightly.
I then sponged the top sky with Pool Party and Lost Lagoon and then stamped the cloud from Sky is the Limit in Lost Lagoon
that I stamped off once to soften it.

The plane I stamped in Old Espresso and used my Blender pen
to pull the colour into the white areas.

Lastly here is the inside of my card.

Thank you for stopping by to look at our hop.

Now it is onto the talented Barbara and  I can't wait to see

what she has in store for us

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 22 -

Hello and welcome everyone to another INKspired Blog Hop, the fortnight sure goes fast. Just some quick pics of our friendly Wally the wombat who has got confused with what time he is supposed to be out chomping on the grass and then fertilizing it! The back view is not his most flattering but he is posed to run down the hill! I was less than a metre away!

You may have hopped across from Marlene who I am sure has made a wonderful card to share

Here is our sketch this fortnight - so pretty, Teneale.
Now here is my card. I kept it simple using some Bohemian DSP (love it!) with Bermuda Bay as the main card with a Very Vanilla front (as it is one of the colours in the DSP). Stampin' Up! now have a list of the colours on the back so that you can be co-ordinated - too easy)

Used a saying from the Sheltering Tree stamp set which means so much when you have good friends.
Punched some stars from the Silver Glimmer with the Confetti Stars punch as I wanted them small.
Punched a flower with the Petite Petals punch which I cut the leaves nearly down to the centre, scrunched it and added a small star to the middle.

I kept it simple and loved how it turned out.
What do you think? Let me know.

Now it is onto the lovely Narelle Macey,

can't wait to see what she has made..

Thank you for stopping by
