INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 47 -

Hi and welcome to our 47th hop.

You may have landed here or hopped across from the delightful
Allison McLeod and I can't wait to see
what she has made this fortnight
These hops occur fortnightly and Teneale gives us a sketch
that we all work with.
Now here is the sketch for this fortnight
I wasn't quite sure what to make with this sketch

I decided to use the Fancy Frost Speciality DSP. I sponged a circle over the DSP using Dapper Denim.

I then cut the circle from one of the Delicate White Doilies and sponged it in place which gave a deeper blue to the area. Guess what I cut two doilies instead of one - sometimes hard to pull apart!!!
Then I stamped the Birthday Blooms rose and coloured it in using a Blender pen and Dapper Denim ink. Used a mixture of greens for the leaves including Old Olive.
I then cut the rose and left only the main flower and leaves
to stick on my card!
I was a bit naughty as I didn't add a sentiment....

Thank you for joining us tonight.
Please take the time to hop around all the blogs.
Now it is onto the gorgeous

Barbara Williams and I can't wait to see what she has made

ESAD 2017 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek Blog Hop -

Hello and welcome to the ESAD 2017 Occasions Catalogue
and Sale-a-Bration sneak peek. What a mouthful to say but this is such an exciting time for us
and our customers - we all love January till March as you get free product when you spend $90.00 in Australia).
You may have hopped across from
Cheryl Algie and I can't wait to see
what she has made.

I went with the beautiful stampset High Tide which I am loving. Made a main card first then made a few tags.

Such a great set to work with. Applied a tag to one of
our clear tiny treat boxes that are
in the main catalogue.
Used the burlap ribbon for the tags

Hope you enjoyed my sneak peek.

Thank you for joing us on this hop tonight
now it is on to

Welcome to another INKspired sketch blog hop.

You may have landed here or hopped across from the delightful Narelle Macey and I can't wait to see
what she has made for us
These hops occur fortnightly and Teneale gives us a sketch
that we all work with.
I was tempted to use one of the new sets but realised that I had a stamp set
that had not seen much inking....
It is of course the lovely Vertical Greeting set and I do love
having vertical sayings. This is a great set to use the markers on.  I  used the beautiful Flirty Flamingo for the main card.
I then used a strip of the  Flirty Flamingo on the edge In Color DSP 2016-2018  (love these new In Colors).

I used a mixture of Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo on the flowers with some
Wink of Stella clear on the flowers

Thank you for joining us tonight.

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 45 -

Welcome to our INKspired blog hop - still recovering from a great OnStage Live event in Brisbane
(I will put up some pics later in week as only got home
last night - been visiting!)
Please take a moment to enjoy all the creations that have been made.
You may have hopped across from the delightful
Allison and I can't wait to see what she has made.
Every two weeks Teneale Williams gives us a sketch that we all have to use.
I had to use the Merry Mice Stampset - they are so cute.

Started with Dapper Denim as the main cardstock and then applied the Very Vanilla cardstock and roughed the edges of the top layer with my fingernail. Cut out Merry from the Dapper Denim. Stamped the mouse in Archival Basic Gray as mice are a gray colour and then coloured in using the Neutrals and Brights markers with the Blender pen.

Adhered some Basic Pearl Jewels to the card. I  cut the top layer of Very Vanilla into  two pieces before roughing the edges.

Thank you for stopping by

Now it is onto Artisan Louise Sharp.
Congratulations Lou on being chosen as one of the
Artisans for the 2017 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - what an honour!

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 44 -

Hi and welcome to our INKspired blog hop.
You may have arrived directly here or
come across from the delightful
Allison who creates such cute cards.
Now here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight
I had an idea but I had to change the oval from
 laying across the card.....
The base card and layer was Flirty Flamingo.
The layer was embossed
with Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing folder and then sponged around the edge
with Flirty Flamingo ink.

I stamped the oval with flowers from the
Number of Years Stampset (love that set).
Placed the lovely Flirty Flamingo Ruched
ribbon across the card and then another
piece over the top and two pearls beside
the oval.

Thank you for stopping by
Now it is onto
Louise to see what lovely creation
she has made.

So here is my birthday card

Used Crumbcake as the base with one of the DSP from

in Early Espresso ink and the words are from the same set - so versatile for a male card.

Hello everyone
SUO Challenge #159 is all about Holiday papers
and we have some gorgeous ones to choose from.
Don't forget to click on the link above to see all the lovely
cards everyone has made - great ideas!
Now what to use?
decisions decisions.....
I finally decided on one of my favourites -
Candy Cane Lane DSP
Wanted to keep it simple
so used Very Vanilla as the base card with an overlay of Very Vanilla
that had been embossed with the
Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder.
I cut my DSP with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.
Then I had to cut a bow out of the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper.

Stamped the Happy Christmas in Real Red ink.
These words are from the
Greetings from Santa stampset.

This is an easy christmas card
that you could make multiples of.
Have fun stamping & making cards

SUO Challenge #158 – Thanks and Thanksgiving

It's the weekend and I just have time to finish
off my card that I started for the
SUO (Stampin' Up! Only)  Challenge.
I am especially thankful for spring
in Australia.
All our bulbs are blooming but hoping for a bit more sunshine instead of the rain and sleet
we have had.
The first part of the challenge was for a
thanksgiving card or decoration but we could make a card or other project that expresses, "Thanks".
So I am going for a card
that expresses thanks.
This first card is Very Vanilla layered onto Crumbcake
with Real Red Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder using
a medallion from
Frosted Medallions stampset and the word
thanks is from
Sunburst Sayings stampset
Sponged around the Very Vanilla cardstock with
Real Red ink.
Then I decided to do another card
 using Crumbcake cardstock only.

Thanks for stopping by
Maree.
