CYCI#124 Water Color Sketch Challenge - Birthday Blooms

Hello and welcome to my blog.
I have been watercolouring and noticed that
Can You Case It - CYCI#124 had a watercolur challenge that my card
would go nicely with

I started witha piece of Shimmery white cardstock that I added a wash of three of the new In Colors -  Peekaboo Peach from the bottom then Flirty Flamingo in the middle and then at the top Sweet Suagarplum - let that dry.
I then sponged around the edge of the shimmery white piece.

I added a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to it and then I attached it to Whisper White cardstock as the main card.

I used the beautiful Birthday Blooms which I stamped onto the Shimmery White cardstock with Basic Black Archival ink
and then watercoloured the flower in
AND then fussy cut it out which took a long time!

I then attached the flower directly to the shimmery white
and added some touches of clear Wink of Stella to the flower.
Stamped "for YOU" on the bottom right hand side.

Thank you for stopping by.
Do go to the link above and see all the lovely cards that everyone has
made for this challenge

GDP Theme: Get Well Soon - Love You Lots

As you can see by the above I thought I would enter the
#GDP039 this week.
I have been playing with the wonderful Hostess set - Love You Lots which I adore

I started with my base card of Very Vanilla and then added a piece of Wisteria Wonder to it.
I wanted to keep it simple so I then added a piece of Very Vanilla on which I stamped the elephant & mouse in Archival Basic Black (aren't they so cute!)
I then used a Blender pen to lightly colour in parts the mouse and elephant in Smoky Slate and used some Wild Wasabi ink for the grass under the elephant and mouse.
I then stamped the words thinking of you from the stampset Sheltering Tree in Archival Basic Black ink.

Hope you enjoyed my card.
Until next time - happy stamping!

ESAD 2016 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop -

Hello and welcome to the ESAD 2016 Annual Catalogue Blog hop. This is my first ESAD hop and I am super excited.

You may have hopped across from Tanya Bell and I can't wait to see what she has done.We love getting comments so don't forget to leave us a word ot two.

I thought I would focus on the new In Colors 2016-18 with the Grateful Bunch stampset and Blossom Bunch Punch. I am loving the new In Colors - they are beautiful. I also included the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper stack as a layer to the main card of Early Espresso.
The In Colors I have used are Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and on the right Flirty Flamingo. For the leaves I use Emerald Envy stamped off once. For the punched flowers I stamped them in Crushed Curry. Added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the flowers off and lifted them with dimensionals.

What Will You Stamp - You've Got This

Looking for a challenge to do
#WWYS67 and
it was using one of my favourite Stampin' Up! stamp sets -
You've Got This.
I started with Crumbcake as my base card. Then a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock
that I used the
Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on.
Lightly sponged with crumbcake around the edge of the Very Vanilla cardstock.
I then stamped the flower in Archival Basic Black ink three times on Very Vanilla cardstock and coloured in using In Color markers and the Blender Pen.

I used the In Colors 2016-18 Peekaboo Peach for the middle and then Sweet Sugarplum for the flower with Emerald Envy for the leaves.
Fussy cut the flowers out and stuck the two back flowers down flat and lifted the front one on
dimensionals. I wanted it to look like a posy of flowers!
I also used dimensionals to lift the words up as well and layered them on Sweet Sugarplum cardstock

Thank you for stopping by
and please go to
to see all the beautiful cards that everyone has made.

Stampin' Up Onstage Sydney 16th April 2016

Well what a great time we had in Sydney in April (forgot to post this..),seeing the new catalogue and getting to play with new products - what a ball!
It was a very busy day with not much time for socialising.
It was Kate's birthday along with Teneale's on the day. This was the box of new product
we got to play with and then we were lucky enough to share that product.
Now here are some pics from the day
This stampset - Lovely Stitching is on page 98 of the catalogue.

Here is an example of a card with stitching on left side - quick n fun to make!

This little fox is right on trend and it comes with a punch to make it easy.

The stampset - Foxy Friends is on page 57 of the catalogue and the Fox Builder Punch is on page 188. You can buy them as a bundle and save 10%!

Some examples of other animals that can be made

This card is made with the new Bunch of Blossoms stampset on page 69 of the catalogue
that comes as a bundle with the Blossom Builder Punch (page 188) .
I have just a couple more pics of the most beautiful bear that some people were lucky
enough to win in Prize Patrol on the day
The stampset is called Baby Bear and is on  page 61. This  bear is a three step bear and is so cute.
Some pics of the colour combinations
Baby Bear makes a gorgeous wedding card.
Stamped on a gift bag with an adorable tag

Hope you enjoyed these stampsets and cards
That's all today,
