ESAD Farewell to the Annual 2020-2021 Catalogue

Hello and welcome everyone to the ESAD farewell to the anual catalogue...it is always so sad to see much loved stampsets go. ESAD is a group just for Australian & New Zealand  SU demonstrators who give support to one another. More important today as we share ANZAC day with our kiwi neighbours across the ditch. Just a bit of history -  ANZAC is an acronym for Australian and New Zealand  Army Corps which was a grouping of several divisions created in the Great War of 1914-18. On the 25th April 1915 the ANZACS were part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. Each year we remember all our fallen service men & women from all wars.

Now you may have hopped across from Denise Buetler and I can't wait to see what she has used. Now tonight I had a hard time deciding so I chose my favourite first - Beautiful Friendship on page 115.

This stampset will be kept as it is so versatile and I love making quick easy cards with it. Also in the top left hand corner is the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots that are retiring as well.
My next card is using Waterfront on page 129.

It is a great stampset for beginners to use as they can make a card so quickly.

Now I do love making cards with scenes and leaving them blank for words until I need them.

This stampset used on the card above is called Snowfront which is on page 58 of the catalogue. I have also used the embossing folder Subtle 3D on the Highland Heather layer which is also retiring...sigh.

Thank you for joining us tonight and now please hop across to Rochelle Blok and I can't wait to see her creation.

ESAD Goodbye Mini Catalogue Blog Hop -

Hello and welcome, we are saying goodbye to some wonderful items from the Mini Catalogue that ends soon. You may have hopped across from  Shannon Kissane  and I can't wait to see what she has used for tonight.

Please see at the end for the full paragraph on what ESAD stands for - in short we are  Extra Special Australasian Stampin Up! Demonstrators.

Well I have been loving the Gnome for Holidays stampset on page 23.

This is such a cute setand great for colouring - I had to make a couple of cards.
First one starts with Real Red cardstock with a piece of Pool Party that has been embossed with one of the Wrapped in Textures Embossing folders (page 9). You get two folders that you can use. They are smaller & they give you a lovely 8cm wide strip for your card. I added to the embossed piece a strip of the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper (page 37) - love a bit of glitz!

Then I cut a whisper white Stitched Nested Labels die and stamped the tree house onto it and coloured in. Used the trees from the Waterfront stampset as they fitted the height I needed. Did sponging of Mossy Meadow around the trees and sponged Pool Party above for the sky. Also the words are from the same stamp set.
Then on the inside I mad a step to attach the label die too. I also glued one behind so that the Stampin' Blends ink could not be seen from the back. The words are from To A Wild Rose stampset.

My second card is a Peekaboo card (my apologies found it hard to photograph).

Attached a piece of the Plaid Tidings DSP  ( page 57) to the front and stamped the Gnomes home and coloured it in. My little girl gnome is peeking in from the back.
You see from the picture below that I tried to show how it all folds together.

Then the picture below is the inside of the card with another gnome and the hidden message that pops across so that you don't see the girl.

Now thank you for stopping by and please hop around everyone and see all the amazing items made. Now it is onto Kelly Kent.

Birthday card for Jack

Hello everyone
It is hard sometimes to find enough male stamp sets to use.
For my nephew Jack - I used a recently retired stampset called Pedal to the Metal
He has a red ute with a trayback so this American one was the closest I could find to his.

Started with Soft Suede as the main card and added another layer that I embossed using the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder. Decided to do a scene when using the ute.

Stamped the mountains in Gray Granite and the trees in Mossy Meadow. The stamps are from from the Waterfront stampset -page 129.

WATERFRONT PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

Coloured in the road with my Stampin' Blend - Smoky Slate.
Now for the inside of Jack's card.

Thank you for stopping by

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.
