INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 27 -

Welcome everyone to our 27th INKspired sketch blog hop.
You may have hopped across from Narelle Macey and I'm wondering if it will be another cute christmas card? The weeks are counting down to christmas so I need to increase my christmas card making starting today!
We looked outside today to see our Blue Heeler looking out thru the fence intently, thinking we had another snake we went looking fast...
Only to see an echinda scratching at an old stump to get to the ants! Thank goodness

Tess - Blue Heeler

Now onto the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with this fortnight. What to do......

I choose the stamp set first - To You and Yours Too which is a photopolymer set. Then wanted to use as the main card - Island Indigo and the Bohemian DSP matches. Then used very vanilla card stock and stamped the tree (which is my star) in old olive. Used the lovely Venetian Crochet trim. Kept it very simple.I layered that all on another piece of very vanilla card stock. Did the first one without words - kept it simple!

Than the second card with words at the top and a wider vanilla front.
Now an inside shot - I usually forget to catch a pic of the inside.

Thank you for visiting..

Now it is onto Kabrina to see what she has in store for us

  1. Definitely your colours Maree, love the peaceful pine. Welcome to Tess, is she a new addition to your family? Don't think she was here before. Great photo of your little echidna, how lucky you were to get a shoot of it.

    1. Thanks barb, new to the blog, she doesn't normally like the click of the camera so doesn't have many pics taken.

  2. Beautiful card Maree love the colours

    1. Thanks Marlene these are my colours - bright n brighter.

  3. Lovely Christmas card Maree, would never have thought to use those Bohemian colours for Christmas, but it just works!
Tess is adorable, I just want to give her cuddles. I will not be cuddling the echinda however - but will admire it's beauty from afar...they are beautiful creatures, you're lucky to have them so close. Yes, thankfully it wasn't a snake!! xo

    1. Thanks Lou they do go nicely. Tried the Blackberry Bliss but it was a shade to dark. Tess is cute BUT a Blue Heeler, nip your heels and she runs!

  4. Love this Christmas Card Maree, The colours you have used are really beautiful and how cute is Tess.I believe Blue heelers are very faithful to their owner. Glad it wasn't a snake.. I hate SNAKES!!!!!!

    1. Thanks Narelle, I loved how it turned out too. I hate snakes as well!

  5. How cute is the echinda! So happy it was not a snake.
