WWYS Challenge #75 - Foxy Friends

Am loving the Foxy Friends stampset and punch - a great bundle to have.
When I saw that this week it was the featured stamp set
on What Will You Stamp
I had to enter

I wanted to make a card that showed that foxes play hide n seek as well.
Started with base card of crumbcake.
Added a layer of crumbcake to that.
Stamped three stumps in Early Espresso ink and cut them out. Stamped the foxes in Cajun Craze and punched them out. Love having a punch for that - makes it so easy!
Stamped some leaves behind the stumps in Old Olive ink.
The words For You are from the Stampset - Birthday Blooms.
Then added some mushrooms that were supposed to be in Chocolate Chip but picked up the wrong ink!!
Thank you for stopping by

Don't forget to pop over and see the cards that have been made
at What Will You Stamp with Foxy Friends.

Bye for now

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 32 - Botanical Blooms

Welcome to our first hop for 2016 - #INK032

Hope everyone had a great relaxing time
over Christmas and New Year.
You may have hopped across from Narelle and I can't wait to see what she has done...
If you have come to my blog first then grab a cuppa and sit n relax whilst you hop around all the blogs
Teneale has given us a fantastitic sketch - sometimes I over think these..
I should just go with what is in my mind first...lol
This is a square sketch and I don't do many square cards but let the adventure begin...
What size does everyone use for a standard square card... I used 5 inch card to start with. I knew that I wanted to use the new Botanical Blooms from the Occasions Cattie, so I started making flowers in Melon mambo and Blushing Bride and leaves in Old Olive with old olive ink stamped on them.

I used the striped paper from the Pretty Petals designer series paper stack in mint macaron - so pretty.
When I was putting the flowers together realised that I had no pearls left so that is why there are rhinestones in the middle. Stamped the words onto Hello Honey cardstock which are from Crazy about You stampset - so versatile!

Hope you enjoyed my card for this blog hop.

Thank you for visiting
Now it is onto Barbara and I can't wait to see what to see what gorgeous creation
she has made

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 27 -

Welcome everyone to our 27th INKspired sketch blog hop.
You may have hopped across from Narelle Macey and I'm wondering if it will be another cute christmas card? The weeks are counting down to christmas so I need to increase my christmas card making starting today!
We looked outside today to see our Blue Heeler looking out thru the fence intently, thinking we had another snake we went looking fast...
Only to see an echinda scratching at an old stump to get to the ants! Thank goodness

Now onto the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with this fortnight. What to do......

I choose the stamp set first - To You and Yours Too which is a photopolymer set. Then wanted to use as the main card - Island Indigo and the Bohemian DSP matches. Then used very vanilla card stock and stamped the tree (which is my star) in old olive. Used the lovely Venetian Crochet trim. Kept it very simple.I layered that all on another piece of very vanilla card stock. Did the first one without words - kept it simple!

Than the second card with words at the top and a wider vanilla front.
Now an inside shot - I usually forget to catch a pic of the inside.

Thank you for visiting..

Now it is onto Kabrina to see what she has in store for us

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 13

Hi and welcome to my blog. You may have hopped across from the delightful Marlene Goulder who always has a gorgeous card waiting for us each fortnight. I have some cute wallabies to show you after my card....just be patient, lol

This is the sketch Teneale has given us this week...

I had a few ideas but wanted flowers with this one...wasn't keen on the border but went with it. I used the Flower Patch stampset and the strip from Butterfly Basics across the top with Pacific Point ink to break it up. As Flower Patch is a photopolymer stampset I use the Stampin' Pierce  Mat (126199) which allows the ink to absorb into the cardstock - gives a cushion effect and a better ink coverage. If you look at the Pacific Point flower which is the first one I did before I remembered to use the mat....not as good but I left it as it looks a bit faded like flowers that are spent and ready to fall.

Just a couple of pictures of the wallabies that have been eating the grass and weeds outside our bedroom this past week early morning only. The baby has been so cute but also staying close to mum.
