INKspired Sale-a-Bration showcase challenge 130 -

Hello and welcome to another sunday night INKspired blog hop. We are showcasing Sale-a-bration products but what to choose. You may have come across from Allison McLeod and I can't wait to see what she uses. I decided to keep my cards simple and let the designer series paper be the star - Flower & Field Designer Series Paper that is just beautiful on page 10 of SAB catalogue- finishes 28th February this year or while supplies last - so be quick.

I started with a Whisper White base card, then added a layer Of Basic Black cardstock and the gorgeous piece of the DSP with all the flowers. I added the white embossed words from the Prized Peony stampset  from the main catalogue on page 84. Then some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

For my second card I stayed with the same dsp and added the bird from the  SAB Touch of Ink stampset on page 12.

Stamped the bird on Whisper White cardstock and cut out using the Stitched Shapes circle. Placed a scalloped circle behind it of crumbcake. Coloured my bird using Stampin' Blends. Added the words from the stampset and it was done. Simply but effective and you could recreate this easily.

Thank you for stopping by and now it is onto Kozue Smith

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 89 -

Hello everyone I am glad that I could join in this sunday night and schedule the hop before I departed for Brisbane for the Stampin' Up! Onstage event.
Can't wait to see Narelle's Santa card - it will be so cute!

Here is the sketch that Teneale has left us with (she is in Orlando with Barb) having a great time I am sure.

No automatic alt text available.

My apologies for the lighting but has been overcast and storms here today. Started with Mint Macaron and used the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured embossing folder.
Stamped the milk can from the Country Home stampset and coloured using the Stampin' Blends.

Finished with a piece of the Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine. The words are from the First Frost stampset ( I have been using for my Onstage swaps - will show you when I come back).

Started with it punched out with the Pretty Label Punch but cut the top & bottom off as it was too wide.

Thank you for popping in

Now it is onto Allison and can't wait to see what she has made

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 87 -

Hi and welcome everyone to our sunday night inkspired hop. You may have arrived here first or hopped across from Kozue  - can't wait to see her creation tonight.
Below is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight
No automatic alt text available.
Started with a base of Pool Party. Piece of Basic Black behind a piece of Pool Party that was stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp in Pool Party. Linen thread wrapped around twice and tied in a bow.(Forgot the leaf..)
Used the stamps from Pretty Kitty inked with Memento and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Love that pussycat in the pot!

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Allison and I can't wait to see her snowmen card that she has made for tonight.

Until next time
Happy stamping

Animal Outing - Rhino here I come

I am loving the Animal Outing stampset and here are a few more cards based on the Rhino.
If you click here you will go to my Giraffe card that I made using the beautiful Berry Burst  & Basic Black cardstock.
It is such a lovely stampset.

Love using Soft Suede cardstock as the base. Layering square framelits are so good to use when cutting out the rhino. Daffodil Delight is the colour used behind.
Used the Tailored Tag punch for the words from Beautiful You stampset and the  Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions folder.
Now with this card kept the base the same but used the Scattered Sequins Embossing folder and the Pretty Label Punch for the words. The words for this card have come from the Love What You Do Stampset.

Hope you have enjoyed these two Rhino cards.
Coming soon will be my favourite "Skippy the kanagroo with Katie the Koala".

Until next time
Happy stamping
