Hello everyone it is saturday the 25th April here in Australia and we are having a very quiet ANZAC Day remembering all our fallen soldiers that never made it home. Social distancing has prevented the celebrations that we usually have across our great country which usually starts with Dawn Services and marches right across the land in every town and city then it is onto the pubs and clubs to share stories and play two up but not this year!
Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.
The acronym ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, whose soldiers were known as Anzacs.
I had made some quick and easy cards with the lovely Peaceful Poppies DSP and the Peaceful Poppies Elements.
You can see below how pretty the Peaceful Poppies DSP is
I used the Poppy Parade cardstock and added a piece of the DSP to the front.
I cut the shape for the words and the black background using the Painted Labels Dies below.
Aren't these Peaceful Poppies Elments below so quick and easy to use
The words were from the Peaceful Moments stampset
Before I go wanted to share this amazing tribute from the Lindisfarne Anglican Grammer School - so moving
Until next time
Happy stamping
