INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 29 -

Hi Everyone, thanks for joining us on our next hop - #INK029.
You may have hopped across
from Narelle Macey and I can't wait to see her gorgeous creation.
Just a quick pic of one of our baby kangaroos who has had to make way for a new baby so is not allowed back in the pouch (he keeps trying, lol) but mum is keeping him close.
She then hopped around the corner of the neighbours fence, sorry about the pic but she wouldn't let us get any closer. Now onto the sketch!

Teneale (my amazing upline) has given us
a fantastic sketch this fortnight, love it.

Here is what I decided to do
Love two step stampin'
so chose the beautiful Reason for the Season stamp set.
I wanted a different shape sitting behind the flower so cut a wreath using the
Wonderful Wreath Framelits from
Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
Blushing Bride is the main card and used a second layer
embossed using the Lucky Stars Textured Embossing Folder.
Stamped the flower using the new Basic Black Archival Stampin' pad as I was thinking of water colouring BUT changed my mind and then used Rose Red for the flower with Pear Pizzazz ink for the leaves.
A girl can change her mind....right!
I used the Multipurpose glue to stick the flower to the Glimmer wreath
and then used dimensionals to pop it up.

I also remembered to take a picture of the inside

Now it is onto
Kabrina to see what she has made for us

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 28 -

Welcome everyone to the 28th Blog hop. You may have hopped across from the talented Narelle Macey and I can't wait to see what she has for us this fortnight.

Here is sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight to work with

I had in my mind what I wanted to do but still struggled to put it together.
Turned the design sideways and used the wonderful Sleigh Ride Edgelits dies on the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and glued them behind the punched out 1-3/4" circles. Punched some stars using the Confetti Stars Punch. (Inside the card are the three punched out circles.)
No stamps used this fortnight.
I kept the front of the card free from words so that I could write inside.

Thank you for stopping by

Now it is onto Kabrina and I wonder

what gorgeous card she has for us this sunday

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 27 -

Welcome everyone to our 27th INKspired sketch blog hop.
You may have hopped across from Narelle Macey and I'm wondering if it will be another cute christmas card? The weeks are counting down to christmas so I need to increase my christmas card making starting today!
We looked outside today to see our Blue Heeler looking out thru the fence intently, thinking we had another snake we went looking fast...
Only to see an echinda scratching at an old stump to get to the ants! Thank goodness

Echinda

Tess - Blue Heeler

Now onto the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with this fortnight. What to do......

I choose the stamp set first - To You and Yours Too which is a photopolymer set. Then wanted to use as the main card - Island Indigo and the Bohemian DSP matches. Then used very vanilla card stock and stamped the tree (which is my star) in old olive. Used the lovely Venetian Crochet trim. Kept it very simple.I layered that all on another piece of very vanilla card stock. Did the first one without words - kept it simple!

Than the second card with words at the top and a wider vanilla front.
Now an inside shot - I usually forget to catch a pic of the inside.

Thank you for visiting..

Now it is onto Kabrina to see what she has in store for us

Switched the design to the top. Used the lovely Softly Falling EF and the words from the Wonderland stamp set. Punch some Real red c/s with the Petite Petals Punch. scrunched them up and stuck them together with a pearl in the middle. Base card is crumbcake.

Thank you for stopping by.

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 26 -

Hello everyone, thank goodness it is the weekend I have had a super busy week - long hours and lots of driving!!
One of our new babies came to visit
Welcome to our blog hop #INK026 , the weather is warming up nicely and you may have hopped across from the lovely Narelle and I can't wait to see what she has made.

Teneale has given us this sketch to work with

I thought I would use the background stamp from  You've Got This which comes in two cases . I stamped the background in crumbcake. Then I cut the cardstock and moved it apart and stuck it to another piece of whisper white and then adhered it to the main card stock of Pool Party. I used the Happy Birthday words from the Butterfly Basics stamp set stamped with memento ink and adhered some Sahara Sand lace under the words.

Embossed the flower in black and coloured with Lost Lagoon first and then Pool Party onto the flower with a Blender Pen and direct with the marker in places. Used Old Olive for the leaves and stem and then cut the flower carefully out (Teneale would be proud, lol). Adhered over the background and positioned the words on and three Rhinestone jewels to finish off.

Thank you for stopping by on this long weekend in Australia (Yah!! an extra day off from work)

Now it is onto the VW no I think it is now the Porsche loving Kabrina and I can't wait to see what she has made for us
