Fancy fold card using Bird Ballad DSP & Free as a Bird

Hi everyone
I can now post this card as my sister Lee has received her birthday gift and card. I put the words thank you on the front of her card to say exactly that thanking her for being our sister for these 50 years and may we have many more together.

The Making a Difference stampset is great for putting numbers onto your cards and for spelling out a name. This set is carrying over to the new cattie which is great news.

Love the colours of Petal Pink & Soft Suede that go with the beautiful Bird Ballad designer series paper that is leaving us on the 2nd of June - so get in quick if you want to order it.

The Happy Birthday on the inside is from the Label Me Bold stampset that is in the Mini Catalogue that also finishes on the 2nd June - it is a great little set. The birds and words are from the Free as a Bird stampset.

Now just a close up of the inside of my card - love colouring in with the Blends.

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Product Challenge 115 with Timeless Tulips

Welcome everyone to our fortnightly sunday blog hop where Teneale gives us a challenge. Tonight we are all using Timless Tulips - love this set and the punch that goes with it.
Now you may have hopped across from Allison McLeod  - so welcome I love what she makes so can't wait to see Allison's card for Timeless Tulips - thank goodness it is carrying over with the punch to the new catalogue starting 3rd June.

I started with Basic Black and Mango Melody as my main cardstock to use. Basic Black as the main card with a layer of Mango Melody that was embossed using the Tufted 3D folder that is sadly not carrying over to the new cattie.
I inked the tulips using a dauber onto the stamp with Mango Melody ink and then Melon Mambo ink and then stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock. The leaves were stamped using Old Olive ink.
The beautiful frame was cut from Old Olive foil which is part of the Noble Peacock foil sheets which I have loved. I then used the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D embossing folders to get that impression frame to surround the tulips.

I punched the tulip out with the Tulip Builder Punch and popped it up using dimensionals.

Now for the inside of my card I used a strip of the Old Olive foil sheet and stamped another Tulip and some leaves. I have not used any words on this card so that I can stamp the words I need for that special occasion.

Now if you ever get the chance to go to the amazing Melbourne International Flower and Gardening Show held at the end of March normally please do - below is a picture I took of delicate pink frilled Tulips that were on show. There was tulips everywhere but with the number of people it was hard to take many pics. I was lucky to spend the weekend with my sister Julie and her friend Glenda and my niece Cassandra.

Thank you for stopping by
now it is onto Barb Williams - love her cards
so can't wait to see what Barb has made.

Until next time

INKspired Sketch Challenge 114 -

Hello everyone tonight we have a sketch going on and I have decided to feature a couple of stampsets that are retiring in June - so sad..
You may have hopped across from
Allison McLeod or stopped in directly so welcome.
I always love what Allison puts together for the sketch designs
No photo description available.
I have always loved this Walrus set from the main catalogue they are so cute- even the fish!

I started with Crumbcake as my main card and then embossed three strips of Pretty Peacock with the High Seas 3D embossing folder (difficult to see the embossed waves in my pictures). I then stamped part of  the Walrus ontp the strips to give that image they were having fun in the water.

Just wanted to give you a close up of the edge under the whisper white cardstock on the left hand side.
I cut this using one of the dies from the Ornate Layers Dies which are available now
 to order.

The Happy Birthday is from the Label Me Bold stampset that is unfortunately also retiring soon. It is a great little stampset that I will keep as it is great to use.

Lastly here is the inside of my card with another Walrus swimming around - they are cute!
Added a strip of the Pretty Peacock Designer Series Paper to it which is in the 2019 - 2021 In Color 6" by 6" DSP pack..

Thank you for stopping by
Now it is onto Kozue Smith and
I can't wait to see what she has made for tonight

Until next time

INKspired Colour Combo Challenge 113 -

Hello and welcome everyone to another INKspired blog hop - this is a colour combo and I find this hard to do - that is to limit to the colours below. Teneale has given us great colours to work with but it has taken me awhile to be happy with my card.

You may have started here or come straight across from the delightful
Julie Martin and I love what she makes

Started with a base card of Smoky Slate and then added the Petal Pink double layer that had been embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder

I started with the flowers from Beautiful Friendship stampset using the above colours on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then I cut the shape out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I used the Layered with Kindness stampset - see below as I love the words.
for my friend. I stamped twice in the Smoky Slate ink using my Stamparatus. Then used the Label Me Fancy Punch.
LAYERED WITH KINDNESS CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH)

Lastly the inside of my card where I used the script from the Very Versailles stampset in Smoky Slate ink and stamped the flower from Beautiful Friendship over the top.

Thank you for stopping by - now it is onto Barb Williams

and I can't wait to see what she has made.

Until next time
