INKspired Sketch Blog hop 117 -

Hello and welcome to another INKspired sunday night blog hop. This sunday night Teneale has given us a sketch to use. Now you may have come across from 

Julie Martin - can't wait to see what she has done with this sketch.

Well I did start making a card with another stamp set and a friend popped in and said "can't you do one of the animals instead - you always do flowers". I do love flowers and I will show you the other card soon that I have made.

Well I do love this Way to Goat stampset - so fun and below

 is Teneale's sketch that I used

I started with one of the new In Colours for 2020- 2022 called

Cinnamon Cider. 

Cut an extra piece that I added a section of the Cinnamon Cider DSP to it and a sliver of gold to it that came from the edge of the Forever Gold Laser-cut Speciality paper

I then with it glued together ran it through using the

Old World Paper 3D embossing folder - love the texture it gives

Them I cut out the Vellum and the Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, stamped the words and my goat onto the Very Vanilla and coloured him in with the new Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends.

Lastly the grass around both goats feet is done in Just Jade Stampin' Blends that is also a new InColour 2020-2022. The flower is coloured in with the new Magenta Madness Stampin' Blends.

INKspired Combo Colour Blog hop 116 -

Hello and welcome everyone to another INKspired blog hop. Tonight we are featuring a colour combo that Teneale has set us. You may have hopped across from Allison McLeod  and I love what she makes.

I decided to choose Positive Thoughts stampset and the coordinating Nature's Thoughts Dies to go with this colour combo. I used Very Vanilla cardstock to stamp the flowers and ferns on as I always use whisper white.

I played with the inks by stamping full and then stamping off once to create that different tone of colour.
I used the Stitched Nested labels dies to cut out a piece of Very Vanilla to layer my floral arrangement on. Lastly I had to add a butterfly and the words are from the Positive Thoughts set stamped in Basic Gray - such a lovely saying .

Basic Gray was my main card with a layer of Crushed Curry embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.



The dies go so well with the stamps.

Lastly the inside of my card where I have just added a flower and a feather.

Global Design Project #244 | CASE the Designer - Forever Fern

Love this card that Krista made below and decided to jump on board and join in. Wanted to use the layout for my card and some of the elements that has come from the Global Design Project #GDP244.

I chose to cut away a strip of my whisper white card from the top layer. I am loving the new Forever Greenery designer series paper and it was a hard decision on which side of the strip I would glue down - do you ever find that hard to do? 

I stamped the leaves in the Shaded Spruce and stamped off once for the second set of leaves. I wanted to make the round ones berries so stamped them in Seaside Spray and also cut out some leaves using Vellum cardstock. The Forever Flourishing Dies made it so easy to cut them out.

Stamped the Happy Birthday from Peaceful Moments stampset and cut the black out with the Painted Labels Dies. Added some Pearl Basic Jewels and was finished.

Saying farewell to Stampin' Up! Tropical Chic stampset & Tropical Dies

 Tropical Chic has been a wonderful stampset that is retiring on the 2nd June. It has been loved by all. So easy to  make quick and easy cards with the set.

You could also cut the leaves and flowers out with the Tropical Dies (that are currently still available online)

My card is quick and simple - stamps, ink & paper

Love the white space and the two greens that I have used with  Gorgeous Grape ink for the flowers. Can you guess what two greens I have used? 

One might be in the Brights collection and the other in the Regals Collection.

Simple card to make and a fitting farewell to this much loved stampset & the Tropical Dies that go with it.

Well from tommorrow - 3rd June you will see cards made with new Stampin' Up! product
