Quick and Easy note cards using Beautiful Baubles

Hello everyone thank you for joining me today.
Needed to make a few quick cards using the Beautiful Baubles stampset from the Holiday Catalogue. #simplestamping is what it is all about - going back to the basics of ink, stamps and paper. I chose to use one colour, one stampset and only one card = no layers which was so hard to do.

I needed some cards to go with some gifts for Christmas and I love using the Stampin' Up! Note Cards - they are so versatile....

Pool Party and Melon Mambo were the colours I used - kept it simple and loved how they turned out.

Used the Stamparatus which made it so much easier to make a few quickly.

Stampin' Up! have released a Craft & Carry bag that you can purchase to put your stamparatus in - love it!

Craft & Carry Stamparatus® Bag - 149695 Price is $50.00 plus postage - contact me if you would love to have one.
Love the Melon Mambo below it is so vibrant

Don't forget to stamp on your envelopes front or back it finishes it off and is so pretty!
Have a safe & happy christmas wherever you are.

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 56 -

Hello and welcome to our hop.
You may have hopped across from the delightful
Allison and I can't wait to see what she has made.
Every fortnight Teneale gives us a sketch that we
all use and here it is for this fortnight
Well I wanted to use another stampset that is leaving us from the
Occasions Catalogue - Birthday Blast stampset.
Started with Blushing Bride cardstock and then added a strip of Blushing Bride DSP. A strip of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and some white Baker's Twine.
Instead of a wash of Colour I went with using the stamp
as the background in Blushing Bride.
Then I stamped the Happy Birthday from the same stampset
in Melon Mambo. I flicked some spots using Wink of Stella but they have not come up
in the pic....

Thank you for stopping in.
Now it is onto the wonderful Barbara
and I wonder
what gorgeous creation she has made....

List Of Products:

Stamps and Dies:   Birthday Blast stampset

Cardstock & DSP:   Blushing Bride cardstock, Subtles DSP,

Ink:  Melon Mambo ink, Blushing Bride ink

Other odds and ends required:  Snail Adhesive,  Stampin' Trimmer, Wink of Stella - clear, Baker's Twine white, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 24 -

Hello everyone and thank you for dropping in on this special sunday as it is Father's Day for us here in Australia. I hope all the Dads' have a great day and a special thought for those we have lost. You may have hopped across from the amazing Narelle Macey who celebrated 34 years of  marriage this week and I can't wait to see the card she has made for us. Congratulations to Narelle and her hubby!
No animals this week but a pic of my minature Daffodils out in flower - Spring is finally here!Hurrah, though the mornings are still frosty.

Now onto the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight

I started with Pacific Point as my main card and then added the same colour stripes from the Brights Background Designer Series Paper Stack attached to a piece of Pacific Point. I then got my Melon Mambo ink out and stamped one of the flowers from the Flower Patch set
(don't forget to use your Stampin' Pierce Mat as it gives even pressure when using photopolymer and give it a few seconds to allow the ink to absorb into the cardstock, then holding the cardstock gently remove the stamp). Cut it out using the Flower Fair framelits and my Bigshot - no fussy cutting today.
I wanted it darker so I used  my Melon Mambo write marker and coloured over the two  inner layer of petals to make them darker so they would stand out (Psst I've actually coloured one of the outside petals as well...carried away colouring again!) I then layered some of the Gold Metallic thread  behind my flower and added my word and some rhinestones, who doesn't love some bling.

Thank you for stopping by.
Don't forget to hop around and see all the amazing cards.

Now it is onto the delightful Renee Lynch

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog hop. You may have hopped across from the delightful Marlene Goulder and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop. Grab a cuppa, relax and take time to hop around everyone's site and get some great ideas.
Here is the sketch we have this fortnight from Teneale Williams

I love a bit of water colouring so thought I would start with that. A very light waterwash of Mint Macaron that I allowed to dry on Very Vanilla but it looks more white in this picture taken at night.
Stamped the flower using Memento ink and used the blender pen to lightly colour with Melon Mambo ink and the leaves were done with Mint Macaron & Cucumber Crush.Used Delightful Dijon marker to colour the middle of the flower. The Melon Mambo Candy Dots then finished it.

Thank you for stopping by.

Mountain parrot eating last of the berries
Hello and welcome to my blog. You may have hopped across from the lovely Lissa  Carter and I can't wait to see what she has created this fortnight.
Please take the time to hop around all the blogs as everyone creates something beautiful and we appreciate you dropping in.

Here is the sketch for this one

Well I turned the sketch sideways as I had a stampset in mind that I hadn't used yet.
I wanted to use the Lanterns out of the stamp set "Today & Everyday" and colour them in bright colours. Some sponging with a dauber around the embossed cardstock wanting a darker edge.

Thanks for stopping by

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 14

Hello and welcome to my blog. You may have just hopped across from Marlene's blog and enjoyed the card that she made this fortnight, so many great ideas and everyone does something gorgeous.

The pic I am going to share this fortnight has a little story with it. I was sitting quietly on the back wood area in the late afternoon watching the babies and the adult kangaroos come up to feed. The babies were playing and one picked up a sod of grass and dirt in his paws and I couldn't resist clicking away. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Now onto the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with:

I had a few different card ideas but what did I need ...a girlie birthday card with lace. I am loving the beautiful Sahara Sand lace so had to include that. Then I needed bright colours as she loves bright things. Used a bloom from "Bloom with Hope" (my sisters' would know the correct name for the flower).
I have been informed (lol) that it is a Gerbera

Used the background stamp-" Something Lacy"  and the happy birthday from the "From the Herd" stampset.
I changed  my mind a few times with this card on what was going into the squares..
Hope you like it as much as my friend will.
