Tasteful Touches Silhouettes

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog today. I love stamping with blacks and grays on my cards.
I saw the #tgifc273 challenge and thought I would play along.

My card uses the feathers from the Tasteful Touches stampset stamped in Memento ink and then to the side in Smoky Slate ink.
I used the splotch stamp (as I call it) from the Painted Poppies stampset and cut out  my piece with the feathers on it using the Painted Labels die set.
Love quick and easy cards and this one is a beauty!
Words are from the Timeless Tropical stampset.

Don't forget to click on this link and hop over and see all the other cards

Until next time
Happy stamping, stay safe and
be kind to one another.

Started with a base of Pool Party. Piece of Basic Black behind a piece of Pool Party that was stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp in Pool Party. Linen thread wrapped around twice and tied in a bow.(Forgot the leaf..)
Used the stamps from Pretty Kitty inked with Memento and coloured with Stampin' Blends. Love that pussycat in the pot!

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Allison and I can't wait to see her snowmen card that she has made for tonight.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 84 -

Hi and welcome to this sunday night INKspired blog hop that features the sketch below that Teneale has given us.
You may have hopped across from Narelle and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop.
As I am typing this it is snowing here at home on this very cold sunday afternoon. Now onto my card!
I am loving the Designer Series paper (DSP) in the main catalogue so decided to make a card with the packs. I used the Subtles and Garden Impressions DSP (this is the Garden Impressions pack below)
Garden Impressions 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper
Started with Whisper White as my base card. Then added a piece from the Subtles pack and wrapped the Silver Baker's twine around it and finished with a bow.

The Subtles piece with the dots is the back of the stripe piece and popped it up on Dimensionals.
Subtles 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper
Cut a stripe of Whisper White that I stamped Happy Birthday onto ( this stamp is from Perennial Birthday set) in Memento ink.
Cut a circle from Berry Burst cardstock then cut out flowers and leaf stem from the Garden Impressions pack and popped them onto the circle.

Thank you for stopping by

Now it is onto Allison and you will love what she has made

Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 76 -

Hi and welcome to our INKspired hop on Easter Sunday. Hope you have had a lovely day and not too full (sick) from all those Easter eggs!
You may have hopped across from Allison and I am wondering what products she has used. I am missing my Sale-A-Bration goodies already but weren't the stamps, paper , thinlits and card packs amazing this year!

Now here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight to use.
Started with Marina Mist as the base for my card.
Cut another piece that was 14.4cm by 10.1cm and ran it through the  Layered Leaves Dynamic folder and then stuck it firmly down.
Adhered a small strip of Basic Black  that was 3.7cm wide by 14.4cm down left hand side.

Cut a piece of Very Vanilla and a piece of Marina Mist both to the size of 7.5cm by 11.3cm.Twisted them slightly so the Marina Mist was peaking out.
Used the little leaf design from the Little Loves Framelits with Marina Mist.
Cut a small piece of Basic Black that was 0.6cm wide and attached over the leaf design and adhered at the top.

Stamped the words from the Picture Perfect Birthday stampset  using Memento ink. Then the flowers and leaves from the Perennial Birthday stampset and coloured them in using my Stampin' Blends.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Now it is onto Barb
Until next time
Happy stamping

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 69 -

Hi and welcome everyone to the inkspired hop. You may have hopped across from the lovely Allison. I can't wait to see what she has made.
Teneale gives us a sketch each fortnight that we use and here is the sketch for tonight.
Now sometimes I get caught up with cardmaking and forget to take another look or two at the sketch and yep that is what happened .....totally different to the sketch BUT I have a bow!
I started with the Best Gifts stampset. Inked with Memento and coloured with the Stampin' Blends. Added a piece of real red cardstock behind the pic.

Love the Be Merry DSP with the Real Red cardstock and then some linen thread.

Thank you for joining with us tonight.

Now it is onto Barbara  and I always love her work.

Until next time
Happy stamping

Sneak Peak - Honeycomb Happiness and Hello

Hi Everyone
I was having a crafting afternoon (its raining here )
and using some new stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration
I just love this little chicken and the cute balloons that go with him/her.
Do you notice the cute little embellishment (honeycomb) that sits on one of the balloons - how cool are they? They come in white so that you can spray them any colour that you need for your projects as well as two other colours.

I  found two challenges that my card could go in.

The words across the bottom (Little Sunshine) is from another stamp set called Hello. Love how it goes with my chicken!

Now here are the two stamp sets that I have used

Thank you for stopping by

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 23 - You've Got This

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog hop. You may have hopped across from the delightful Marlene Goulder and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop. Grab a cuppa, relax and take time to hop around everyone's site and get some great ideas.
Here is the sketch we have this fortnight from Teneale Williams

I love a bit of water colouring so thought I would start with that. A very light waterwash of Mint Macaron that I allowed to dry on Very Vanilla but it looks more white in this picture taken at night.
Stamped the flower using Memento ink and used the blender pen to lightly colour with Melon Mambo ink and the leaves were done with Mint Macaron & Cucumber Crush.Used Delightful Dijon marker to colour the middle of the flower. The Melon Mambo Candy Dots then finished it.

Thank you for stopping by.
Now it is onto Renee Lynch to see what she has in store for us this fortnight......something gorgeous as always

Monster Birthday Card made for a cute Boy

Hello everyone. Made this card for a cute 4 year old boy. It is made with a retired Stampin' Up stamp set, can you guess which one? Had to find some google eyes and these were a great find as they have eyelashes - how cute are they! Just had to give you a close up of them.

1. Main card is Pacific Point.
2. Front is Whisper White. I sponged around it with Pacific Point.
3. The inks I used for the four Monster faces were Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Tangelo Twist and lastly Tempting Turquoise.
4. The words were stamped in Memento Black ink.
5. Used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to stick the eyes on with. Strong bond and dries clear
