INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 64 -

Welcome to our blog hop this sunday night. What a weekend we have had snow, sleet and sago (small hail) all day saturday and barely got to 5 degrees C and today it has been a beautiful sunny day topping 18 degrees C.
You may have hopped across from Allison and I can't wait to see what she has made to share with us all.

Teneale has given us the following sketch for tonight which did confuse me at first as to how many layers it was.

Well started with crumbcake and sponged the edge. Then added a layer of Berry Burst (love these new In Colors)- sponged again - my friend Vicki will love that!
Kept cutting the Powder Pink down until I was happy with the size. Added some adhesive to stick them together and put them through the Softly Falling embossing folder.
Sponged around the edges of the Powder Pink with Berry Burst. Tied the linen thread in a bow and the adhered to the Berry Burst. Attached the ribbon to the card.

Love the words from the Layering Love so added to the oval with Archival Basic Black ink and stamped some flowers from
the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stampset. More  sponging around the oval using Berry Burst ink.
Here below are the two stampsets that I used for this card.

Thanks for stopping by and now it is onto the
lovely Barb and I can't wait to see what she has made.

Have a great time stampin'
until next time

ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop -

Thank you for joining us on this ESAD hop of the new
Holiday Cattie - we are all so excited.
New products -WOW!
You may have started with me or you may have hopped across from the delightful Cheryl Algie
I love the kits that Stampin' Up! give us to use. I had to use the new Watercolor Christmas Project Kit and the Watercolor Christmas stampset that goes with it. Such beautiful bold words for the card fronts!
You make up five of each of these four cards with the kit.
It was so easy to make these cards up. I changed
the cards up as you can see below. Added some real red behind the trees and added it to the emerald envy striped card. I stamped the words on the second card straight into the wreath circle and glued some of the gold mini sequins around and inside the wreath.

You could change these cards and use your own cardstock to make more cards from the kit than the twenty.

Tips for making the Cards
1. Stamp all the sayings at once.
2. Make sure your Archival Basic Black is well inked.
3. I added a dab from the Fine-tip glue pen to the end of the gold mini sequin trim (stops the sequins from falling off).
4. When handling the mini sequins use a pair of tweezers - makes picking them up and putting them in place so much easier.

Now it is onto Kristel Rimmer  and I can't wait to see what she has made.
If you get lost there is a list at the end of each blog so that you can see where to go. We would love you to leave a comment.

Thank you for stopping by on this wonderful

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 62 -

Hi and welcome to our #INK062 hop.
You may have hopped across from the delightful Allison so welcome, grab a seat, relax and enjoy our hop.

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight. I have to say I really struggled with this sketch and did a few cards but could not get the right feel for it.
Commenced with Pool Party as the main card. Attached another piece of Pool Party that was stamped with the Marbled stamp using Pool Party ink on top.

Backed a small piece of Whisper White with Pool Party cardstock attached the Lace Trim and cut a daisy in half that had been stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink. There were two daisies stuck together. A small piece of Pool Party over the bottom edge of the daisy and Linen thread wound around twice and then tied in a bow.

Thanks for stopping by.
Now it is onto Barb and I can't wait to see what she has made for this hop as her creations are always beautiful.

At the bottom of my page is a list of participants for tonight

WWC129 Libby's " All About Christmas" Challenge - Sheltering Tree

Welcome to a christmas challenge. I love using different stamp sets for a christmas card instead of the traditional.
Also love using non traditional colours.

Started with using the Sheltering Tree stampset with Wisteria Wonder and Rich Razzleberry for the leaves and stamped off a few times to get the different colour tones. Early Espresso was used for the tree branches and one of the trees at the back I double stamped to get two layers of branches close together.

Rich Razzleberry cardstock was used for the card base. The Merry Christmas stamp is from the Star of Light set and Early Espresso was used to blend with the trees.
I could link in to the WWC129 All about Christmas Challenge
So don't forget to hop over and see all the other wonderful christmas cards that have been made for this

WWYS #126 // Label Me Pretty and lemon sultana biscuits

Made some lemon sultana biscuits to give to a friend and made a matching birthday card to go with it. Love how the Label Me Pretty stampset and matching punch are so versatile.

For the Birthday Card
Pool Party as my base (10.5cm x21cm) folded in half and added  a  strip of Sweet Sugarplum which I used the Banner punch on both ends. Some Burlap ribbon, Silver Metallic thread and rhinestones. Used the Watercolor pencils to colour the flowers.

For the biscuit card
Pool Party cut at 3" x 6" and folded in half. Stamped the kitchen stamp onto  Pool Party and punched out. I then punched a piece of Sweet Sugarplum out and cut it in half and attached it to the back.
It was then attached to the 3" card. I then realised I had no Sweet Sugarplum striped grosgrain ribbon only Flirty Flamingo to tie it onto the cellophane bag.

#tgifc117 Theme Week - Summertime Blues

Its winter here so I thought I would create some lovely blue skies so that I can dream of the warmth to come in our Australian summer. I am submitting my card in the #TGIFC117 challenge which is themed Summertime Blues
I  blended the following colours in a wash onto some shimmery white cardstock. Started at the top - water washed Pacific Point then Tempting Turquoise then Marina Mist and finally Old Olive.
I also washed the blues onto a separate piece of shimmery white and cut out a rose. I also cut a rose out of Night of Navy. Stuck the outline of the Night of Navy rose down and filled it in with the lighter blue pieces.

Stamped the Happy Birthday in Archival Basic Black ink. The stamp is from the Rose Wonder stampset which can be found on page 162 of the Stampin' Up! catalogue.
