INKspired Sketch Challenge hop 102 -

Hello everyone and welcome to our sunday night hop around. We have a sketch for this fortnight by Teneale Williams - I do love sketches!

You may have popped across from Julie Martin and I always love seeing what she has made.

I chose to use the lovely new In Color - Rococo Rose as the main card with the Rococo Rose Designer Series paper on top and teamed it with the Daisy Lane Bundle.

Used the small daisy and punched out two for each flower - love that punch so easy to make flowers. The flowers were inked with Rococo Rose and I added some Lovely Lipstick to the tips of the flowers

I used the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen ribbon cut in half and had it edged on the Happy Birthday label - now you can never have too many birthday cards!

Stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink and finally placed a Clear Faceted Gem in the centre of each flower.

INKspired Colour Combo challenge 101 -

Well hello and welcome everyone Teneale has given us a colour challenge this sunday night and I must be honest that I found this difficult and was definitely out of my comfort zone - which is good to do. Love the colours that we had to use but I struggled with deciding how much of each colour to add.

You may have hopped across from Julie Martin and I can't wait to see what she has done with the colours.

I started with the small magnolia from the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle and coloured with the Rococo Rose Blends - so pretty.



Cut some flowers from the Well Written Dies in Vellum, Crumbcake and Night of Navy - the swirly one at the top right of the picture below.

The large Mint Macaron  lace pattern (is what I call it)that I placed across the whisper white was from Wild Rose Dies see below.

I was trying to still show the amazing Magnolia's that is from the Magnolia 3D 
Embossing folder - see a picture below.

It is very hard to see the embossed Magnolia in my card but it is beautiful in real life. Stamped the Happy Birthday in Rococo Rose ink - a new In Color, birthday stamp is from 

Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set -152729  Just click on the link. Punched it out using the Timeless Label punch.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 100 - Celebrations!

Hello and welcome to the hop this sunday night it is a big occasion with our 100th hop - so congratulations everyone.

Congratulations Teneale for all the wonderful sketches you have given us and here is the 100th!!

Well I am loving the hostess stampsets so had to use one that is a favourite with a lot of us called New Wonders Cling Stamp set - 149426. Just ask me how you can get this cute set.

Started with Petal Pink cardstock and stamped the image onto Shimmery White cardstock and coloured in with the Stampin' Blends. 

The DSP below is gorgeous and I had to cut the beautiful birds - (sigh) to have a piece of the polka dots...

Bird Ballad DSP - 149592

Wanted to use one of the die cut words so that you could still see the linen thread through - so chose the word friend from the Well Written Dies.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 99 -

Hello and welcome to the sunday night INKspired sketch blog hop. You may have hopped across from Julie Martin and I can't wait to see what she has made. I am so excited about all the new products in the catalogue so it was a hard decision on what to use but I  chose the To A Wild Rose Bundle and the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper for my card.

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight.

Started with Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the base and stamped the leaves from the stampset onto the card in Flirty Flamingo.

I then cut a strip of the Perennial Essence DSP and adhered to the Blackberry Bliss and tied the linen thread around it. I didn't want to cover up the DSP (it is so beautiful - so Monet) so I used a piece of vellum over the top of the linen thread.

Stamped the Hello in Blackberry Bliss onto the Stitched Circle with a layer of Blackberry Bliss behind it.

Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper - 149100

Stamped the flower in Flirty Flamingo with the three stamps and stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green but used only two of the stamps. Cut them out using the dies below - which is a great bundle.

ESAD 2019 - 2020 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop Sneak Peek -

Welcome and thanks for joining us for the ESAD 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue hop showing you a sneak peek. You may have hopped across from Sharon Dalton and I can't wait to see what she has made

I love the Free  As a Bird stampset that comes as a bundle with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (this is a mouthful to say quickly) but they are amazing.
I have made three cards using this lovely stampset. The first is the Balmy Blue card below where I cut the branch off so that there was only three birds - I needed it to fit it onto the stitched circle shape.

 This card below is using Soft Suede as the main card with a layer of Petal Pink embossed with the Subtle embossing folder and the birds cut  out with the Stitched Nested Label die.

I embossed the layer of crumbcake and then cut out the nested label piece and slipped in a piece of plain crumbcake - love how you can see the double stitched lines.

These birds are great for colouring in using the Stampin' Up! Blends.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 97 -

Hi everyone and thanks for joining us for another sunday night INKspired blog hop. You may have hopped across from Narelle  Macey and I can't wait to see what she has done using the  lovely Bird Ballad suite.

Every fortnight Teneale gives us a sketch that we all use and I have found this sketch a bit hard to use.....

I have been using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley - 150059 and loving it. It is $139.00 and has a lot in it- click here to see it all.

Used the Everything is Rosy stampset and the thinlits dies. 

Started with Night of Navy and embossed the piece on top with the Climbing Vine textured Impressions embossing folder - will be sad to see this go

Used retiring inks that I love - Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves and Berry Burst for the flowers.

The words have come from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stampset.

INKspired Sketch Blog hop 96 -

Thank you for joining us on this sunday night for the INKspired sketch blog hop. You may have jumped across from the lovely Narelle Macey and I can't wait to see what she has made.
Teneale has given us this great sketch below to work with this fortnight.

Well of course I had to go with one of the new stampsets that I got at Onstage Live in Auckland. On the friday and saturday we made cards using new product and I was lucky to get out of the box  on the friday  this stampset below  called Sailing Home. I then ordered the matching dies to  go with it.

I started with crumbcake as my main cardstock teamed it with Night of Navy and Whisper White.

Inked the lighthouse in Night of Navy and then cut it out with the new amazing dies called Smooth Sailing Dies - so easy to use.

Love the rope and the anchor and the word thanks completed it. I cut two lighthouses out and popped the second one up.

Had to do the inside of the card with a Night of Navy lighthouse and some birds flying overhead. You will be able to order these new stamps and dies when the Annual Catalogue goes live in June.
